RULES, PLEASE READ FIRST « Thread Started on Sept 24, 2008, 7:45pm »
Here are the rules, read and follow.
I. Pay respect to staff and fellow members of APII, that also goes for staff as well -- Don't be an idiot and try to ban someone you hate, we do not allow that sort of low-level bullying.
II. Bullying and mistreatment is far banned from this forum. If I or other *noble* staff and members catch this happening, they will report it and the bully gets warned and PMed that they have been warned for bullying. If this does not cease, the bully will be banned temporarily until further notice.
III. Regarding IC and OOC, Please do not go OOC so much on the RP, that even goes for the non RP sections such as the character creation. Also stay ON TOPIC, being off-topic would utterly discombobulate (confuse) people who expects you to be on topic about a certain subject.
IV. As for advertisements, make sure it stands the reasonable requirements for members who would be interested. The rules must not be overly strict, the owner of the site should not be a jerk who does not understand a fucking thing, and I have to study it before I can say my approval. If I disapprove, don't whine, go with it, saves the members the misery of a torturous site that expect everyone to be perfect. Just no, there is no fucking way people can be perfect and be forced to be that way.
V. On to the Talent Area, there is a board that allows you to show your talent to others who would be immensely interested in it. If you wish to have your own section(sub-board) in the Talent Area, PM an Admin and they will make it for you, just be careful what you show, though, if it is adult-themed slap a warning just to be safe.
VI. I'm pretty sure that SPAMMING the non-spam section is not allowed, you will be warned and be closely watched by staff to make sure you don't repeat it. Your spam post will be deleted, and of course you will be PMed so you know you are under watchful eye by the staff.
VII. Now on to Character Set-up, for now, those who want cannons do not need to post profiles, it is first come, first serve. But be sure to tell the staff you taken that character... But one catch, if the cannon is unavailable in such a way that it doesn't seem it is not, that means the character is reincarnated in certain standards (Ex: My character Hades Kami, who is the reincarnation of the Greek god, Hades). So therefore you cannot have a character that is already reincarnated, it would confuse members of who is who.
VIII. Continuing character set-up. As for Original, Fan, and Reincarnation characters, you must POST their profile USING the templates provided!! It will not be approved if it is not the template provided to OC, FC, and RC, that also goes for uncompleted profiles(because we know that you probably take time to finish them). And of course if it is also with the expectations for character creation, but not to worry you will be given helpful suggestions of what you can fix, we are not that evil...
IX. Character expectations for the RP -- Obviously, no invincible of god-like characters, you'll have to be a responsible person to play a god(as long as you do not over-do it, but I personally think that staff should have the god characters, but that is just me). Also if your character is related to a Cannon character you are not playing, ask someone who HAS it if it is okay, but otherwise, be careful.
X. As for romance pairings, ask someone if you want to pair your character with someone elses, but be sure to let the relationship develop like relationships normally do, no one is perfect and character might want ti start the relationship slow. I dont care what kind of pairing it is, if it is Heterosexual or Homosexual, we dont care. Do not complain about it.
XI. as for accounts, I don't care if you use multiple or just one, whatever is comfortable with you.
XII. Reguarding pregnacy, I don't care if is is Mpreg, regular preg or even lesbian preg, or even a test-tube baby, I don't care. Don't complain just because someone likes it. Don't bash about it, even in PM or IM, it is considered bullying and you know it is illegal in this forum.
XIII. No alternate Universe characters, its more confusing when there is two different verse characters, but they are of the same character, being played by two different players. So no, avoid confusing people.
XIV. There will be a cannon, fan, original, and reincarnated character rosta list, so be sure to read it so you know if the character you want to take is not taken. Don't complain, please.
XV. Reguarding any complaints that might happen about these rules, just be glad they are not too harsh, we just tend to make sure that things are organized and working OK.
XVI. Be sure to know where you post, stay active as much as you can, I know everyone would probably have some issues with real life, just be patient. PM the player if it is their turn after it has been the 3-4 day waiting period. Please do not be rude, not everyone can immediately keep up.
XVII. If you are temporarily(or Permanently) leaving APII due to certain matters, be sure to tell us in the announcements section so we are all acknowledged of your absence.
XVIII. Concerning any Adult-rated threads in the RPG section, just put a rating/warning on it to tell people it's adult stuffins.
XIX. As for the Chatroom, keep it simple, I don't care if there's adult things going on, go with the rules as it were for the whole forum. And If you are RPing, be sure to post a transcript, I'll be sure to put down instructions for that.
XX. Plagiarism is also not allowed on this forum, Plagiarism means use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work. This also refers to Plagiarism of characters, which is ALSO not allowed! If you want to use someone's character in an RP, ask them first please and credit that it is their character, this also goes for fanfictions or other type of literature.
